IKON Model 10090 VMEbus HYPERchannel Adapter Interface allows theconnection of any VMEbus-based workstation system to the Network SystemsCorporation A-400 HYPERchannel or B-400 HYPERbus network adapters.HYPERchannel and HYPERbus networks can be used to connect to variousmainframe and minicomputers.Sixteen-bit and 24-bit slave (I/O Standard Map) address decode isstandard. DMA memory accesses use 16-bit data path with up to 32address bits and a software-selected address modifier. DMA output isFIFO-buffered, and DMA input is double-buffered, for maximum transferrates and bus efficiency. The interrupt level is selected through onboardjumpers, and the interrupt vector is set by software.
